Ida E. Sebastain
May 21st, 1915 - November 19th, 2016
Ida Elizabeth (Liz) Sebastian was born on a family farm near Wyaconda, Missouri on May 21, 1915 to Albert G and Mary Gibbs Dieterich. She graduated from Wyaconda High School in 1933 an attended cosmetology school in Illinois. In 1940, Liz married J. Rex Sebastian, Jr. They had one son, Rex Sebastian. Liz lived most of her life in Missouri, South Dakota, California and Oregon. She worked as a hair stylist and caregiver. Liz was a member of the Methodist Church of Wyaconda and the Eastern Star Lodge. Liz is survived by son Rex (Nancy), Granddaughter Leann (Dave Osborne), grandson Joel (Amy), great-grandsons, Benjamin and Isaac, and nephew Thomas Dieterich (Pricilla). Her family would like to thank the Assisted Living and Extended Nursing programs at Hope Village for their kindness and care of her over the past 11 years. Please join us for a Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Marquis Assisted Living at Hope Village. In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions in her memory be made to Canby Meals on Wheels or the Canby Educational Foundation.
