Theresa Jane Hansen

THERESA J. HANSEN age 82 of Jefferson passed away Tuesday March 3, 2015 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek. She was born on October 1, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late John and Martha (Strumidlowski) Ujazdowski. She married Andrew Hansen on February 14, 1953 in Chicago; he preceded her in death on August 13, 2014. She had been employed at Electro Dynamics in Rolling Meadows prior to her retirement. Theresa enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Quilt Guild in Onekama, Michigan. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always putting them ahead of herself. She will be deeply missed by her family; Sons; Andrew (Jo) Hansen of Watertown, David (Cindy) Hansen of Kennewick, Washington. Daughter Laura (Michael) Sosnowski of Portland, Maine Three grandchildren; Drew (Nikki) Hansen, Caleb (Shea) Hansen, Kari (TJ) Schnulle, One great granddaughter; Evelyn Marie Schnulle. Sister; Virginia (Bill) Gibson of Santa Rosa CA, Brother; Casey (Annabel) Downs of North Riverside, IL She is also preceded in death by husband Andrew Hansen, her sister; Charlotte Gallas, Brother; Henry Downs. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 11, 2015 at Alden Estates in Jefferson, with the Rev. Dave Marriott officiating. Burial of both Andrew and Theresa will follow the service on Saturday at the Ebenezer-Moravian Cemetery in Watertown. A visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. until the time of Services.
