Catherine Marie Pauli
December 13th, 1929 - February 15th, 2016
CATHERINE M. PAULI, age 86, of Jefferson passed away Monday February 15, 2016 at Alden Estates of Jefferson. She was born on December 13, 1929 in Waterloo, daughter of the late Herman and Lilly (Kelch) Thorman. She graduated from Lake Mills High School in 1948. Catherine had worked at Creamy Packaging in Lake Mills, and Schweiger Industries. Catherine married Lawrence Pauli on April 27, 1949 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Watertown; he preceded her in death on March 22, 1999. She enjoyed needle work and crocheting. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parishes. Catherine is survived by her children daughter, Susan (Ronald) Dahnert of Fort Atkinson, Sons Thomas L. (Lynette) Pauli of Lake Mills, Steven (Bonnie) Pauli of Jefferson. Grandchildren Daniel Dahnert, Johnathan (Cheryl Mierendorf) Dahnert, Timothy Dahnert, Laura (Shannon) Bohlman, Janel Pauli, Kari Pauli. Great grandchildren Channing Dahnert, Blake, Brooklyn and Aubrey Bohlman. She is also preceded in death by her brother Louis Thorman. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday February 19, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating burial will follow in the Rock Lake Cemetery in Lake Mills. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Those wishing to give a memorial in Catherine's name may direct them to Rainbow Hospice or to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
