STEVEN H. HOENE age 66 of Oconomowoc, passed away August 21, 2016 at the Oconomowoc Hospital. He was born on August 17, 1950 in Watertown son of the late Harley and Ruth (Christian) Hoene. Steve served in the United States Air Force in the Military Police K-9 Unit in the United States and Thailand. He was employed at Cedarburg Lumber Co. for many years, along with working in retail sales at various businesses. He loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed his trips to Fort Myers Beach. He will be deeply missed by his family, Brother Darrel Hoene of Fort Atkinson. Nieces Cris Schnitger of Johnson Creek and Traci Hoene of Jefferson. Great Nieces Kassidy and Britany Schnitger. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening August 25, 2016 at the Schneider-Michaelis funeral home in Jefferson, with the Rev. David Zandt officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with Military Honors to follow the ceremony.
