KATHLEEN "KATIE" M. BRAUNSCHWEIG, age 75, of Johnson Creek, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday January 23, 2018. She was born on August 25, 1942 in Jefferson daughter of the late Frederick "Fritz" and Marie (Schicker) Klossner. She married Martin "Marty" Braunschweig on August 28, 1965. Katie worked in the Accounting department at Doskosil, Stoppenbach, and Tyson until her retirement in 2008. She enjoyed bowling, and was an avid sports fan, she especially loved watching the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and all the Wisconsin Badger teams play. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson and the Ladies Aid. She is survived by her husband Marty Braunschweig of Johnson Creek. Son Randy (Jen) Braunschweig of Fort Atkinson. Grandchildren Bryce Braunschweig, Dylan Braunschweig, Ryan Miles, Kelsey (Evan Wartgow) Miles. Sisters Patricia (Eugene) Kramer of Pipersville, Judy (John) Kylmanen of Jefferson, Mary Jeske of North Carolina, Janice (Ken) Wegner of Jefferson. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother James Klossner. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 27, 2018 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Joshua Martin presiding. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. John's Ladies Aid Visit www.schneidermichaelisfuneralhome.com to leave a condolence or light a candle in her memory.
