KATHLEEN "KATHI" MILLER, age 73 of Jefferson received the gift of eternal life on Monday December 19, 2016. Her battle with pancreatic cancer may have been lost, but Kathi always maintained her belief that she was able to wage such a valiant fight due to the support, comfort and prayers offered by her many friends, neighbors and family members. Kathi was born on March 12, 1943 to Helen and Charles Kuehn. She attended St. John the Baptist Catholic grade school and graduated from Jefferson High School. She was a lifetime member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parishes. On May 23, 1964 Kathi married Randall "Randy" Miller; he preceded her in death on October 19, 2009. Kathi had a diverse work history including working as a waitress at Meadow Springs Golf Course, Sales person for Towne Inn Frozen Pizzas, Clerk/Meat Cutter at Jones Dairy Farm Retail Store, and a clerk at the St. Coletta greenhouse and a caregiver at Padua Heights CBRF, clerk at Wedl's (Armstrong's) Hamburger Stand and her favorite job as the "Lunch Lady" at West Elementary School in Jefferson. Kathi also believed in the gift of "giving back" she accomplished this through all of her volunteer work. Places and events Kathi has volunteered at include; Fort Memorial Hospital gift shop and the Hospital's restaurant The Grill, St. Vincent De Paul Society in Jefferson, Jefferson Senior Center where she was a member of the Board, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Fall Festival, Tomorrow's Hope raffle volunteer and Torch Bearer for 2016, Jefferson CPA Bingo, and Friday Bingo caller and volunteer at Sunset Ridge in Johnson Creek. Kathi is survived by two daughters; Colleen (Randy) Latsch of Helenville, Shelley (Tim Meske) Miller of Jefferson. Four grandchildren; Janelle (David Mercado) Latsch, Zachary Lilly, Peter (Robin Gigl) Lilly all of Jefferson and Kole Latsch of Helenville and two great-grandchildren Camryn and James David (JD). She is further survived by her brother and sister in law Jim and Bunny Kuehn of Jefferson, sister Janet Wickersham of Waukesha. Nieces and nephews: William (Barb) Sinclair, Susan (Jay) Buichl, Todd (Sabrina) Kuehn, Jill Sinclair, Kevin (April) Sinclair, and Tim (Julie) Kuehn. She is preceded in death by her husband Randy, twin grandsons Jamie and Andy Lilly, Her parents Helen and Charles Kuehn, and her parents-in-law Martha and Ewald Miller. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday January 7, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday January 6, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and then again on Saturday morning at the church from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Those wishing to honor Kathi's memory may give a memorial to Rainbow Hospice or to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Kathi was an avid football fan of the UW Whitewater War Hawks, UW Madison Badgers, Green Bay Packers, and NASCAR racing, to honor her love of the game and the thrill of the race everyone is invited to wear the attire of one of the above teams.
