It is with great sadness that the family of our beloved Daniel (Danny) E. Trujillo left us on May 28th, 2024 at the age of 85.  He is survived by his eldest daughter Lisa Vaz and her husband Damon Vaz and his only grand kid Bryce Vaz.  His loving daughter Danielle Trujillo and his beloved Son Abe Trujillo, his oldest brother Floyd Trujillo and his wife Beatrice Trujillo.  Including several nieces and nephews that he loved so much.  He will join his beautiful wife Alice Trujillo, his eldest daughter Dawn Walker,  his parents Floyd and Josie Trujillo, his sister Emilia Lara, his nephew Nick V. Trujillo and his niece Lillian (Pee Wee) Trujillo all that have since passed away. Daniel served in the United States Navy as Seaman from 1958-1962 and in 1969 he attended Maritime Advancement Training, Education and Safety Program in San Francisco, CA where he later became a Chief Mate Radar Observer traveling the world and would later retire in 1995, but only to go work for the United States Post office for (6) years to occupy his time.   Daniel, was an avid sports fan who loved watching professional football, basketball and most importantly watching his only grand kid Bryce play High school and College football.  He enjoyed long walks with his loyal dog Ophelia who also passed away earlier this year.  Watching old movies was also a great past time for him and very involved with our countries politics.   His smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed.  Memorial services will be held on June 27th starting at 11am MST at Aspen Mortuaries 6370 Union St. Arvada Co 80004 followed with burial services at Fort Logan Cemetery at 1:30pm.
