Cynthia "Cindy" Jean Callow

Cindy was born August 22, 1951 in Denver, Co to Robert & Florence “Jean” Kurtz and grew up in the South East Denver & Arvada area, she graduated from Arvada High School in 1969. She met Rick Hanson and the two young love birds were married on January 17, 1970 and they had 3 children Rick, Ryan and Sara. Cindy enjoyed raising her 3 kids & spending time with her family. She began her career at Mountain Bell in 1981 and enjoyed many positions she had with the company until retired in 1995. After her divorce in 1993 she enjoyed watching her children growing up. While they were in high school, she met & fell in love with Jim and on March 17, 1995 she married James Callow. After they were married they traveled while Jim was in the Navy and they came back to Colorado in 2003 to enjoy her grandchildren.

Cindy loved traveling, gardening, collecting dolls, playing with her dogs, watching a good ghost show on TV, but most of all spending time with those she loved. She is fondly remembered for her love of Christmas and the flowers in her garden, her Smile will be missed by all.

She is preceded in Death by her parents Bob & Jean Kurtz & Her Brother Danny Kurtz.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years James Callow of Westminster, Her three children Ricky (Jennifer) Hanson of Silverton, OR, Ryan (Kim) Hanson of Westminster, CO, Sara (Manuel) Santiago-Troyano of Westminster, CO and Her grandchildren Jenna, Kirsten, Kayla, Landon and Dalton, her great grandchildren Charlotte, Kennedy and Ophelia. Also Her Brother Robert (Sheryl) Kurtz of Littleton, CO and sister Kathy (Dave) Sewolt of Arvada, CO and many other family and friends.
