Dennis Dale Davis from Lakewood, Colorado was born September 15, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas. Preceding Dennis in death are parents Charles and Helen Davis and brother Charles who was killed while on active duty. Dennis is survived by his loving wife Peggy of 7 years, his brothers Nolan and Arthur of Blackwell, Oklahoma, his children Rebecca from Copperas Cove, Texas, Rachel Lambeth from Golden, Colorado and Benjamin Davis from El Dorado, Kansas, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dennis served in the U.S. Navy, the Army Reserve and National Guard. he attended Golden church of Christ in Golden, Colorado. Dennis was a great teacher of God's Word and active in all phases of worship service. Dennis had been battling esophageal cancer since June 2010 and went home to be with the Lord July 3, 2013. Dennis impacted the lives of everyone he met and will be missed by his family, church family, all his friends and everyone he met. Services are set for 1:00 PM Thursday July 11, 2013 at Golden church of Christ 1100 Ulysses Street Golden, Colorado. All contributions may be made to Exempla Lutheran Hospice at Collier Hospice Center 3210 Lutheran Parkway Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033.
