Ernie G. Molina "Kio", 86, of Denver, CO passed away on August 1, 2013. He was born to Jose and Curz Molina, 1 or 6 chidren. Preceded in death by siblings, Enrique, Jose, Gabriel, Alvina and Frances. Leaving many nephews, nieces and a dear friend of 42 years, Joesph Zecha. Graveside Service Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 @ 12:15 area "C" Fort Logan National Cemetery. Kio joined the military at 17. He was loving, giving, honest, a jokester and loved animals. He was a very hard worker usually with hotels and restaurants. In 1973 he was honored with the 'Thurston Dupar Inspirational Award' from Fairmount Hotel affiliated with Western Intl. Hotels. "Kio" travelled many places, Washington, Hawaii with the miltary and after he was discharged many more. Sometimes by hopping railways or hitch hiking places such as Florida, New York, Califonia and New Orleans for the Mardi Gra. and finally making Colorado home in 1971. Per Joe' he wasn't afraid of nothing'. In the 50's he played with Trio Cabania and auditioned on Koy. He was raised by his sister, Alvina Mason (preceeded). and grew up with her children as brothers and sisters. We the family give many thanks to Denver Hospice, Caroline, Lori, Jodi and Frank. Also Friends and neighbors who showed so much love, Ann and Tyler/ Barker and Eric/ Astasia & Pete / Amy & Patrick.
