David Leonard Torres

David Leonard Torres, 24, of Fort Lupton, passed away Oct. 21, 2012. He was born Oct. 4, 1988, to Cathy and Leonard Torres. David was a big light that touched so many people†™s lives. He continues and will continue to touch lives after he as now passed on to be in peace and eternal happiness. David was so young and had so many plans and dreams ahead of him. Everything he touched and set his mind to became his. We can only hope and pray that in his death we can all find peace in knowing, that despite his young age, he was taken for a reason. We can only hope and pray that his death reminds us all to keep our loved ones close, and to never forget to tell someone that you love them. David worked for Wayne†™s Electric and went to school to become an electric lineman. David leaves behind his parents, Cathy and Leonard Torres; siblings, Jennifer Srch-Martinez, Adrian Garcia, Leslie Lusero-Torres, Lisa Torres, Kerri Brandon and Nicholas Torres; and grandparents Devon and Grace Joan Brandon, and Hope C. Ulibarri. David was the uncle of 11 nieces and nephews, one of which he will be laid to rest next to, another angel taken too soon. Viewing is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Aspen Mortuary, 6370 Union St., Arvada. Funeral services are from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Faith Bible Church, 6250 Ward Road, Arvada, followed by burial at 1 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery, 13750 Weld County Road 12. A reception will take place at 2 p.m. at Wayne†™s Electric, 2101 County Road 27, Fort Lupton. All who are interested can come and are welcome. We are very excited to know and meet everyone he has touched.
