Preceded in death by grandson, Alexander Solano; grandparents, Dale & Eleanor Early and Vincent E. & Maxine Svenson; and her fur baby, Buddy. Survived by loving husband, Corey; daughters, Kasey (fiancé Garrett) Svenson & Katie (Leno) Solano; granddaughter, Camila Solano; stepson, Zachary; parents, Mel & Wanda Svenson; brother, Mike (Heather) Svenson; nephews, Ben & Jack; fur babies, Hrbek & Dutton; aunties, uncles, cuzzies & their families; great friends; mother-in-law, JoAnn; and brother-in-law, Chad. Mel was a fiercely loyal fan of the Mighty Ducks, Polars, and the MN Twins. Member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 1350. Funeral Service 4:00 PM at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul with Visitation starting at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
