Albin Theodore Paver

Albin Theodore Paver, born October 6, 1924 in Hibbing, MN. Died September 13, 2015. Preceded in death by parents Francis and Anton Paver, daughter Cathy Paver, and sister Mary Marolt. Husband of Ann Ouka Paver, father of Debra Armstrong (Dean), Jody Staab (Larry), Chris Elias (Mark) and Michael Paver (Amy). Grandfather of Kerry Gamble, Jessica Armstrong, Andrew Staab, Aaron Staab, Rachel Elias, Jillian Paver and Ben Paver. Great Grandfather of Signe Gamble, Flynn Gamble and Brenden Sweeney. Al loved his family, woodworking, cross word puzzles, and listening to polka. In his younger years, he also loved playing softball. He will be dearly missed. Memorial: Sunday, September 27, 2015 Sandberg Funeral Home 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St Paul, MN 55109 Visitation - 1:00 Service - 1:45 (sharing of memories will be asked for & welcomed by family & friends who wish to speak following family remembrances) Following the service, join us at Polar Ridge Assisted Living at 2365 Helen Street N., N. St. Paul (Ann's residence) for refreshments, and a few of Al's favorite treats, along with conversation and Polka. Albin will be interred privately at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. Finally, family would like to thank the wonderful Polar Ridge nursing staff (and so many others working at this great assisted living facility) for their caring, competent and professional care of Albin during his dying process. They made the difficult period of dying easier and humane. Also, thanks to the caring and timely attention of BrightOn Hospice staff who responded to our needs promptly and compassionately.
