Beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister & Friend ~ Age 46 Passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a brief illness on September 22, 2012 in St. Paul, MN. Christine was born August 2, 1966 in Plymouth, WI. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1984 and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988.She became a police officer in South Windsor, CT in 1989. On June 30, 1990 she was married to John Baetzold in Plymouth, WI. She has been a resident of North St. Paul, MN since 1994. Survived by loving husband of 22 years, John; children Seth, Claire & Jared; parents Robert & Elizabeth Unger; brother John (Genia) Unger; sisters Sarah (Paul) Baude & Kathleen (Tobias) Kutrieb; parents-in-law Roger & Gail Baetzold; brothers- & sisters-in-law Edward, Anne (Steve) Hancock & Fr. Anthony; many nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Employee of ISD 622, and former police officer in South Windsor, CT. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday (9/27) 11:00 AM at TRANSFIGURATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 6133 - 15th St. N, Oakdale, MN. Interment Union Cemetery, Maplewood, MN. Visitation Wednesday 4-7 PM at church & one hour prior to Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family for the children's education.
