Patricia "Pat" Lee Olsen

Age 88 Of St. Paul Passed away October 22, 2015. Preceded in death by father Fred M. Lee; mother Ruth K. Lee; brothers Glenn A. Lee & Howard D. Lee; son James "Oley" Olsen; & longtime dear friend Jack Hennessey. Survived by son Robert C. Olsen (Diana); daughter Nancy L. Olsen; four granddaughters & two grandsons; four great granddaughters & 3 great grandsons. Pat grew up in Hazel Park, attended Eastern Heights Elementary School, Ames Junior High, & graduated from Harding High School Class of 1944. All through school, Pat was involved in many clubs & extracurricular activities. She attended the University of Minnesota for two years. Worked at West Publishing Company as a Linotypist where she met her husband. They were later divorced. She loved outdoor sports, was a member of the St. Paul Figure Skating Club, participated in long blade racing & was a member of the Aldrich Arena Long Blade Skating Club. Pat was an avid golfer for many years, belonging to North Oaks, Indian Hills, Goodrich & Keller Golf Clubs until moving to Rochester, MN in 1995. She always enjoyed the outdoor & loved watching birds. Memorial gathering Tuesday (10/27) from 4-6 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul. Private interment Union Cemetery.
