Wilmer Edward Schmidt

Schmidt, Wilmer E. Age 95 of North St. Paul, passed away on April 28, 2023. Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Clara; wife, Matilda “Tillie”; and children, Susan and Leon. Survived by nephews and nieces; great nephews and nieces; great-great nephews and nieces; great-great-great nephews and nieces; li'l buddy Tucker (his best friend 'til the end), Sammy and Jake. Wilmer was born in Woodbury, MN on the family farm. He was raised in Afton, MN, graduated from Stillwater High School, and served in the Korean War. Wilmer met, courted, and married the love of his life Tillie, had a daughter and son, and raised his family in North St. Paul, MN. His hobbies included fishing, he was an avid gardener for 67 years, and loved his time with his family and friends. He was a faithful servant to his church and deeply loved his Church Family. Memorial Service will be held on May 12, 2023, at St. John's Lutheran Church at 11 AM (visitation 10 AM - 11 AM) at 1975 St. Johns Dr., Woodbury, MN.
