John Raymond Swenson

Swenson, John R. Age 80, of Maplewood Loving Partner, Father, Grandfather Passed away peacefully on July 3, 2023. John was a US Army Veteran and an amazing friend to many. He was a lover of the outdoors and an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be dearly missed. Survived by Life Partner, Terri; children, Lori (Greg), Jodi, & Johnny (Sarah); their mother, Sherrie; Terri’s children, Corissa (Mark), Jenifer (Doug), & Matt; grandchildren, Will, Stella, Zak, Rylan, Easton, Caleb, Lowen, Aven, Rachel, Bradley, & Alec; sisters, Nancy & Marie; niece, Jody Oien and her son, Josh and family. We would like to thank all of the amazing caregivers John had, especially those with Hospice of the Midwest. True angels on earth! Memorial Service at 12 PM on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Sandberg Funeral Home (2593 E. 7th Ave, N. St. Paul) with a visitation starting at 11 AM. A Celebration of Life will follow at the No. St. Paul American Legion (2678 7th Ave E) from 1-4PM.
