April 26th, 1934 - March 5th, 2024
Studiner, Richard J. age 89 of Oakdale, MN, went to his Lord peacefully on March 5, 2024. Richard was a Korean War Navy Veteran, retired U.S. Postal Inspector Asst. in Charge St. Paul Division and member of Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel Foundation. Preceded in death by his father Charles, mother Sadie (Wolf) and stepmother Josephine (Wintheiser); wife Willa (Kinnear) and Donna (Andoe); brother Charles, sisters Jacqueline (Heinrichs) and Vernette (Olson). Survived by children David, Ronald, Darlene (Tom McDermott), Paul (Lizz), John (Paula), Thomas (Stacy) and stepdaughters Patricia (Doug) Bunce and Kathleen Kern; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel (1 Tower Ave, Minneapolis) on May 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery (2505 Minnehaha Ave E, St. Paul) at 11:30 AM and luncheon at Sgt. Peppers (930 Helena Ave N, Oakdale) at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel Foundation.
