Age 73, of Saint Paul passed away on December 26th, 2017. Survived by his children, Carolyn Cox, Charles (Tia Woods) Cox, Jr., Corey (Jacqueline) Cox, and their mother, Carol Cox; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sister, Verdell Franklin; nieces, Darlene Whitelaw and Cathy Juniel; nephews, Daniel Whitelaw and Toney James; also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Services Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Spielman Mortuary, 344 West University Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55103. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery, Saint Paul, Minnesota. Public Visitation two hours prior to the funeral services on Tuesday (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.).

For over 30 years, the couple lived above the funeral home and took just one vacation. They sold the home in 1984 to the Willwerscheid family.
