After 87 days apart they are united once again for Eternity in Heaven. He leaves to cherish his memory, his four children, Cynthia, Lawrence Jr. and Coretta, all of St. Paul, Michael Walker of Tampa, FL; 8 grandchildren, Isaac II, Ishmael, Amareya, Neriah, Avery and Malachi, all of St. Paul, Michelle and Tiara of St. Petersburg, FL; 3 brothers, Monroe Walker Sr. and Lee Roy (Betty) Walker of St. Paul, Charles Sr. (Betty) Walker of Okolona, MS; 3 sisters, Maggie Griffin of St. Paul, Dorothy (Charles) Thomas of Indianapolis, IN, Priscilla Thompson of Joliet, IL; he is also survived by a host of “favorite” nieces, cherished nephews, godchildren, other relatives, and special friends. He was also an active member of DAV Chapter #2 in St. Paul and serving as Commander for several years. More than anything Lawrence Sr. was a loving family man who wanted all life had to offer for his children and his grandchildren. Spielman Mortuary

Spielman Mortuary

Spielman Mortuary has been helping Saint Paul families since 1950 when Kenneth and Helen Spielman purchased the National Funeral Home. For over 30 years, the couple lived above the funeral home and took just one vacation. They sold the home in 1984 to the Willwerscheid family. We still operate Spielman Mortuary with the same traditions of pride, sensitivity, value, and attention to detail that the Spielmans followed for over three decades....
