Three professional business entities, Arthur Young, INC Magazine, and the Denver Business Journal, nominated her as †œEntrepreneur of the Year† for the years 1988, 1989, and 1990. Pascoe earned over 140 regional, national, and international awards for effectiveness and/or creativity and execution of her businesses. She founded Pascoe Professionals Inc., Medical Marketing, 2008-2010 and moved on to develop a larger company with an expanded goal. She co-founded and was president of The Pascoe Associates, Inc. from 1986-2008--twenty-two years specializing in healthcare. Her company was the first marketing communications firm specializing in healthcare. As a visionary, she recognized healthcare as a dynamic long-term growth industry with a high level of need for effective marketing communications. With a partner from DDB Needham Beverly Hills, they created a national, full service marketing communications firm with average annual billings of $4.5 million. Her company provided service to medical entities including pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare providers, managed care, insurers, public health, health initiatives, medical information technology, national medical professional organizations and foundations. Based on over twenty-five years of marketing and management excellence, Pascoe founded a new business, Inspire Strategy LLC, in 2010. She wrote on her businesses LinkedIn profile: †œIn addition to brand development, strategic direction and planning, Inspire Strategies provides integrated marketing communication crafting and orchestrating comprehensive, integrated marketing programs with a thorough knowledge of all media including traditional, direct marketing, search engine, and email marketing, tracking, and reporting.† With a BA in theology from CU Boulder and an MBA in Business from Columbia University, she used her education and her unique personality and vision to build successful businesses. As a foil to her business focus, she loved dogs and cats, and domestic arts including gardening and cooking. She had a devotion to meditation and loved photography, hiking, and traveling--some of which she did internationally for her business clients. With all her challenges and successes growing in entrepreneurship, respected by colleagues, businesses for which she worked, and people in the many organizations she founded and led, Cher Pascoe died when she was highly successful and †œahead of the game.† She was an innovator, strategist, leader, team builder, speaker, writer, and business developer. In addition to success, honors, awards, and respect she was much loved by her friends. Ironically, she died on her 63rd birthday. She is survived by an aunt, Carol Roberts of Oklahoma and family members from Kansas. Donations can be given in Cher†™s memory to: The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra P.O.
