Sandy Bennett Harris

Sandy Bennett Harris, affectionately known as Nana, passed away on May 5, 2024. Sandy recently moved back to Minnesota and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and children which will be remembered fondly by her family forever. Born on July 28, 1962, Sandy was born and raised in Carbondale, IL. Sandy had a fulfilling career as a recovery specialist for youth and adults. Throughout her life, Sandy was known for her love for her family and helping people in recovery. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She was an avid reader of mystery, true crime and love novels as well as painting and drawing. Sandy is survived by her children Kai, Elijah, Ian and Jordan, as well as her beloved grandchildren Tank, Henderson, Dane, Azariah and Marley. She is also survived by her sister Stephanie. A private service will be held at a later date in California with family and friends.
