James "Jim" Frederick Kroll
November 16th, 1930 - November 25th, 2023
James (“Jim”) Frederick Kroll of Shoreview, MN passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25. Born November 16, 1930, in St. Paul, MN.Jim retired from Western National Insurance Company after more than 25 years of service. Together with his wife, Jim enjoyed ballroom dancing, biking, skiing, traveling and summer weekends at Travelers Country Club, where he served as both president and treasurer for many years. He was deeply loved and will be missed by both family and friends. He is survived by daughters Linda (Wayne) Zahradka, Lorie (Bob) Treff, Nanci (Mike) Lilja, and Karin (Jason) Kibbee, and son Gary (Georgia); eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; and brother Arnold. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years (Bev), parents August and Harriet Kroll, and brother Robert. Memorial Service at 11 am on Thursday, December 7 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 3920 Victoria Street N Shoreview, MN 55126. Visitation at 10 am at the Church. Memorials preferred to the church.
