James Carl Meide, age 92 of Champlin, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2021. Preceded in death by his wife Beverly, son Bobby, parents Paul & Marie, and sister Janet. James is survived by his children Richard (Kay), Diane (Mark), Paul (Cheryl), Mary (Scott), Sue (Kevin); 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. James had a love for the outdoors and a passion for life! His hobbies including fishing, photography, taxidermy, ham radio operator, and fixing most anything. He was a machine shop instructor for over 30 years! He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, a Navy veteran where he served in the Korean War. Father and grandfather loved by all and will be missed deeply. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
