August 7th, 1955 - April 16th, 2015
Susan L. Dake Ferguson, 59, of North Main passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, April 16th with her loving family at her bedside. Born August 7, 1955 in Amsterdam, New York, she was the daughter of Roger C. Dake and Mary Tricozzi . She was a graduate of Broadalbin High School and later attended FMCC to achieve the eligibility to serve as a Medical Assistant. Susan was employed at Mohasco Industries; Amsterdam Family Practice and she last worked as a Phlebotomist at St. Mary's Hospital for 12 years. She loved spending time with her family during the Holidays and family gatherings. She also loved animals which she loved to rescue and care for. Susan enjoyed going to the Saratoga Race Track especially to see the horses. She also liked boating on Sacandaga Lake. Survivors include her loving son, Anthony Cosentino of Broadalbin; her dear parents, Mary Tricozzi of Broadalbin and Roger Dake of Gloversville; brothers, William R. Dake (Jean) and Scott A. Dake (Deborah) all of Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 20, 2015, from 4 to 6 pm at the Betz, Rossi and Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue Amsterdam. There will be no funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made in Susan's memory to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steel Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078.
