Gilbert Samuel Mares, 82, of Commerce City passed away on March 4, 2015. He enjoyed the dog track, pool, horseshoes and fishing. Father of Rosemary, Joe, Bernice, Gilbert Mares,Jr., Leonard, Alex and Rachel Brother of Marylou, Cecelia, Sylvia, Rita, Leonard, Romolo and Ella Also survivede by 13 grandchildren, 13 great garndchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents Sam and Mary Mares, his wife Sophia Mary Ortega, Sisters Marina and Florita. Rosary 11:00am Monday, March 9, 2015 at Aspen Magnolia Chapel 6580 E. 73rd Ave. Commerce City, CO 80022 Reception immediately following the service at The Eagles Lodge 8160 Rosemary Street, Commerce City.
