Obituary BRB FFH Amsterdam, NY Stephany Kulpa Stanavich 83, passed away Monday morning at her home. Born in Amsterdam on Feb. 25, 1931 the youngest of four children of the late Albert and Berniece Trudzinski Kulpa she was a lifelong resident and attended local schools. Stephany retired as an office manager for Amsterdam Printing and Litho Corp. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church. She and her husband Bill shared a wonderful union of fifty five years until his passing on May 23, 2010. She leaves her sons Rodney and his wife Alice Stanavich and Wayne and his wife Wendy Stanavich of Amsterdam ; grandchildren Rebecca, Joseph and Brittny; great grandchildren Mason, Sonya and Skylar; sister Josephine Sargalis of Amsterdam as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her grandson Jason, granddaughter Trish Raab, sister Frances Vitcha and brother Julian Kulpa. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday Jan. 19th at 9:00 am at St. Stanislaus Church 50 Cornell Street by Fr. O. Robert DeMartinis. Relatives and friends are invited. It was Stephany's request that there be no calling hours. Interment will take place in the spring in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Stanislaus Church or the Montgomery Co. Office for Aging 123 Guy Park Ave. Amsterdam 12010.
