Linda M. Graff Ruback, 62, passed away Saturday at Nathan Littauer Hospital with her loving family at her side. Born in Amsterdam on Sept. 1, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Walter and Jean Murray Graff and a 1969 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School. She later attended Potsdam University. Linda retired from Longview Fiber with the position of office manager. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church and had served as treasurer at one time. She and her husband enjoyed their home in the Town of Hope. Linda was a woman who placed everyone else in front of herself, and no matter what she was involved with she put her best foot forward, doing everything in her power to make it a success. On July 25, 1971 she was united in marriage to Roger J. Ruback. In addition to her husband, she leaves her children Jodi Ruback of Washington State; Ryan and Scott Ruback both of Amsterdam; sister Judy Graff Alonzo of Mechanicville; her aunt Mary Ellen Dixon of Nebraska; and was the aunt of Kim, Kristen, Jason and Gregg; she also leaves many of her Murray cousins and dear friends. A service of Remembrance will take place Friday at Gerald BH Solomon National Cemetery in Schuylerville at 11:00 am. ( A procession will meet at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home at 9:30 am Friday). There are no calling hours and memorials may be made in her name to the Montgomery Co. SPCA, PO Box 484 Amsterdam 12010.
