David "Buzzy" A. Bell

David A. "Buzzy" Bell, 56, of Gloversville died peacefully on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Born in Amsterdam, NY on September 4, 1957 he was the son of the late Harold and Florence Bell. A lifelong area resident, Buzzy graduated in 1976 from the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School. He was employed by various companies including Coleco, Hasbro, Rehrig Penn Logistics. He was working for School House Pools until the onset of his illness. In 2002 he received a certificate from FMCC. Buzzy enjoyed life and being with his family. He enjoyed word searches, Sudoku and grilling for his neighbors and friends. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants, the Oakland Raiders and NASCAR, especially his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt Sr. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his children,Tricia (Ian) Smith and Marissa Bell (Justin Salmon)and David M-J Bell; five grandchildren, Ian Jr., Ryleigh, Madison, Rylee, and one on the way; eleven siblings, Harold (Phyllis) Bell, Robert (Barbara) Bell, Margaret Clark, Beverly Bell, Alice Going, Patricia (Joe) Kobas, Shirley Edick, Barbara Witzke, Marsha Yackowetsky, Cynthia (Rocky) Bassett; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Billy Bell. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 2 until 5p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.
