Brenda Ryan

Brenda Ryan, 48, of Gloversville, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday morning , November 13, 2013 at Mountain Valley Hospice, Gloversville following a long illness. Born on February 8, 1965 in Gloversville, she was the daughter of James Darling and Carol A. Heise Darling. She was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Mayfield Central School. Brenda enjoyed socializing and having a good time with her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, she liked to go camping and swimming. She was animal person and had several pet cats and dogs over the years. Brenda is survived by her parents: James Darling of Fultonville and Carol Darling of Johnstown; daughter: Jennifer Darling of Manning, SC; a brother: James Darling, Jr. of Johnstown; sisters: Michelle Darling of Glovesville, Cheryl Parlin of Mountain Home, ID, Jolene Cameron of Fletcher, VT., and Crystal Gunderson of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 5PM until 6PM at the Mayfield Presbyterian Church, 22 North Main Street, Mayfield, where a memorial service will follow the visitation at 6PM with the Rev.
