Barbara Jean Parry Moran passed away unexpectedly at Albany Medical Center on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the age of 55. Barb was born in Amsterdam, New York on May 21, 1957 to Donald and Phyllis Parry. She graduated from Fonda-Fultonville High School in 1975 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eisenhower College in 1979. Barb dedicated herself to working at the Saratoga County Head Start for over 25 years. Barb will forever be remembered for her patient and giving spirit. Her compassion and dedication were evident in how she lived her life and loved her family, especially through her commitment to her children and grandchildren. Barb loved spending time in her garden, making crafts, baking with homegrown ingredients, and hanging out with family. Barb was an active participate in autism awareness, served as a dance mom with Shooting Stars Dance Academy, and was a member of the Tribes Hill Presbyterian Church. Barb is lovingly remembered by her husband, Harold Moran; parents, Donald and Phyllis Parry; sister Sharon Parry Sykes; children Kelly Premo and her husband Jess, Nathan and Ashleigh Adams; Ami Gamache and husband Derek, Cinnamon Adams and husband Ken, and Heidi Patrie and husband Ryan; aunt, Barbara Campbell; grandchildren, Jonathan and Jordan Gamache, Carissa and Hannah Adams, Conley Patrie and Trevor Premo; many nieces and nephews including niece, Jennifer Sykes; and nephews, Jonathan Sykes and wife Liz and Kevin Sykes; and other relatives and friends. The family invites relatives and friends to attend calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Betz, Rossi, and Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, N.Y., 12010. A funeral service will take place on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Tribes Hill Presbyterian Church, 116 Elizabeth St., Tribes Hill, NY, 12177, with the Rev. Bonnie Orth. Immediately following the funeral service, an internment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Mohawk Dr., Tribes Hill, N.Y., 12177.
