Clifford Wayne Myers, 68, of Chopin Parkway, Amsterdam died peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2013 at St. Mary's Healthcare with his family by his side. Cliff was born in Amsterdam, NY on November 25, 1944 the son of the late Leo and Flavia Myers. He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed being a part of the Liberty family. He loved people and always wanted to talk to them. He is survived by his beloved sister, Evelyn Stanley Podolec; two sisters in law, Joanne and Mary Ann Myers; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and his second family at Chopin Parkway. Cliff was predeceased by his brothers, Lee, Gerald and Kenneth Myers and a sister, Kathleen Lucynski. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11 o'clock at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 156 East Main Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call one hour prior to the Mass beginning at 10a.m. at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Hospice, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to the Montgomery County SPCA all in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
