Jack A. Minery
March 9th, 1957 - June 30th, 2012
Jack A. Minery, 55, of Gloversville, passed away Saturday, June 30. He was born March 9, 1957 in Amsterdam, the son of the late Henry and Florence Gardner Minery. Jack had a great sense of humor and was quite the comedian. He loved to have fun. He enjoyed classic rock music and spending time with his friends. Most of all, Jack adored his children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed. Survivors include a son, Jack R. Minery Robin Kelly of Gloversville; a daughter, Tina Richer Kristopher of Gloversville; five grandchildren: Kassandra, Robert, Kendra, Jeremy and Logan; four brothers: Ted Hollis of Gloversville, Henry Minery of Gloversville, Stephen Blanchard of Broadalbin and Alton Blanchard of Tribes Hill; three sisters: Betty Ann Thwaits Melvin of Lake Clair, Margaret Linquist Steven of Hagadorn Mills and Iva Marie Ferguson of Amsterdam. Survivors also include Wanda May of Broadalbin; several nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends. In addition to his parents, Jack was predeceased by a brother, Julius Minery. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service Tuesday, July 3 at Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 West Main Street, Broadalbin, NY 12025 at 12 p.m. with Reverend Rendall Torres officiating. A calling hour will take place at 11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Broadalbin Mayfield Rural Cemetery in Broadalbin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's memory to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Pine West Plaza, Suite 204, Albany, NY 12205.
