Pearl Carr
January 25th, 1940 - May 29th, 2012
Pearl Carr, 72, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 29, 2012. She was born January 25, 1940 in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late Donald L. and Lucy Cucciaro Euliss. On February 7, 1959, she married Thomas Carr, who survives. They shared over fifty three wonderful years together. She was of the Catholic Faith. Pearl was a great cook and a loving person. Her world revolved around family and she was a wonderful and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed. In addition to her beloved husband, Thomas, of Gloversville, survivors include two sons: Thomas D. Carr Laurie of Raleigh, NC and Donald Carr Laurel of Lansing, KS; a daughter, Lisa Hammond James of Gloversville and four grandchildren: Kerri Ann Chase Matt, Kaleigh Carr, Thomas Carr and Kevin Carr. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Donald Euliss. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 31 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pearl's memory to American Diabetes Association, 2 Pine West Plaza, Suite 204, Albany, NY 12205.
