Elaine Edwards, 74, passed away Wednesday, April 18 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. She was born September 18, 1937. Elaine was a very special lady. She was extremely affectionate and loved to smile and was always a pleasure to be around. Ever a true lady, she enjoyed looking her best and was quite fond of jewelry and nice clothes. She also loved her teddy bears and dolls. Elaine will be sadly missed by many. Survivors include her special friend, Doreen Labada and staff members and countless friends at Mountain View 2 in Gloversville. Friends are invited and may call Tuesday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Dr. R.W. Williams presiding. Interment will be at FernDale Cemetery in Johnstown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lexington Center, 1278 East State Street, Gloversville, NY 12078.
