May 25th, 1964 - January 19th, 2012
Miguel Carrero Jr., 47, of Division St., Amsterdam, passed away Thursday January 19, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. Born on May 25, 1964 a son of Miguel and Antonia Liquet Carrero Sr. He came to Amsterdam in 1977 and attended Amsterdam schools. Mr. Carrero was employed for many years for the New York State Thruway Authority. He was of the Roman Catholic Faith. Miguel was very kind to his family and friends. Survivors include his Fiancé, Elizabeth "Betsy" Cole of Amsterdam. Two brothers, Ismael Julia Torres of Amsterdam and Israel Julie Liquet of Albany. Two sisters, Antonia "Tonita" Raul Rivera of Amsterdam and Madelyn Gonzales Toni Rexha of Amsterdam. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY.
