Edward Nicholson

Edward Nicholson, 76, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully Friday, November 4, 2011. He was born February 23, 1935 in the Bronx, the son of the late Eddie Robinson and Ida Nicholson. Ed was hysterically funny with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed his beer, jazz and blues music and was a real ladies' man. He is survived by a sister, Mary Nicholson and many friends and the staff at Mountain View 2. He is also survived by his advocate, Lisa Godfrey. Family and friends are invited and may call Wednesday, November 9 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lexington Center, 127 East State Street, Gloversville, NY 12078.
