Lois M. Rockwell-Albertson, 70, of Gloversville, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. She was born February 28, 1940 in Gloversville. On July 11, 1979, she was united in marriage to Ralph Albertson, who survives. They enjoyed over thirty-one years together. Lois was employed by Coleco Industries in Gloversville and also at Exel, Inc. in Johnstown until her retirement. In addition to her husband, Ralph of Gloversville, survivors include a son, Jeffrey Cole Lyndall of King City, CA; a stepson, Dale Albertson of Rochester and a grandson, David Cole. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 1st at 11 a.m. at Union Rural Cemetery, Mayfield with Reverend Karen Patterson presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lois' name to the Johnstown Reformed Church, 351 North Perry Street, Johnstown, NY 12095. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kobuskie-Konik Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078.
