Angelina Pagan Castro
January 7th, 1930 - February 20th, 2010
Angelina Pagan Castro of 62 Glen Avenue went on to be in the presence of the LORD. A woman of great faith and assurance of GOD's promises she peacefully accepted Jesus' hand and went to Heaven, while in Orlando, Florida. Burial to be at a later date. The daughter of Jose Pagan and Petra Matos, she was born in New York City on January 7, 1930. She married Victor Castro who predeceased her March 4, 1988. Survived by her children Gladys Majewski and son-in-law Frank Majewski, who she lovingly called "Franky Boy", of Amsterdam, Liz Senquis and son-in-law Cristobal "Chamaco" Senquis of Orlando Florida, son Raymond "Ray Ray" Castro and daughter-in-law Nancy Castro of Amsterdam. Angelina leaves behind nine grandchildren and seven great-grand children. Angelina was a devoted, loving mother and was a doting grandmother; she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and delighted in watching them grow. Her life consisted of many achievements, but the far greatest of these was her faith and love of the LORD. Angelina had much love and compassion for her fellow man. If there was anything she could do to help someone in need, she was the first to offer a hand. Memorial Service at TIME FOR TRUTH MINISTRIES, 46 Market Street, Amsterdam, will take place April 3, 2010 at 12:00 noon. Pastor Raymond Barnett will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Angelina's name to TIME FOR TRUTH Children's Christian Education Ministry.
