Victoria Stankevich, 98, of Amsterdam and recently of Granville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at The Orchard Nursing Home in Granville surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her son, Frank Stankevich of Niskayuna; daughter, Beverly Gutowski of Granville; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Born on May 2, 1918 in Amsterdam, she is a daughter of the late Adam and Mary Siarka Wojnar. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00am St. Stephen's Church, 51 Pawling Street, Hagaman with Fr. O. Robert DeMartinis as celebrant. A calling hour will take place prior to mass starting at 10:00 am at the church. Burial will follow immediately at St. Stephen's Cemetery. Memorial donations in Victoria's name can be made to St. Stephen's Church. Online condolences can be made to Victoria's family at www.brbsfuneral.com.
