Mary Anne Mazzariello
March 12th, 1922 - December 1st, 2008
Mary Anne "Ann" Mazzariello, 86, passed away suddenly Monday, December 1, 2008. She was born on March 12, 1922 in Newark, N.J., the daughter of the late Vincent and Eufemia Sepere Ottalagano. Ann worked as a glove maker at Ruben's Gloves in Gloversville. She was an outgoing woman and she was very likable. She came from a very large family but they were always very close. She always found great joy in being together with her family. A bit of a perfectionist, she excelled at pretty much everything- cooking, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was a wonderful wife, a caring mother and an adoring grandma. Ann will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of sixty three years, Jim Mazzariello, whom she married November 3, 1945. Other survivors include a daughter, Barbara Mosconi Steven of Gloversville; two grandchildren: Scott Mosconi Kenyon of Ballston Spa and Amy Mosconi of Atlanta, GA; two brothers: Peter Ottalagano of Palm Bay, Fl. and John Ottalagano of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; a sister, Esther DiGiovanni of Lake Hopatcong, NJ and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited and may call Thursday, December 4 at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St. from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. with the Reverend Dr. R. W. Williams presiding. Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Gloversville. Donations may be made in Ann's memory to a charity of one's choice.
