Amsterdam, NY-Shirley Rae Bryce, 72, of Amsterdam, New York, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Born July 14, 1944 in Amsterdam, New York, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Eve Bryce. She is survived by her two sons, Todd R. Case and Toby M Case; her brother, Blaine P Bryce and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Shirley loved to read and her other pass times were crocheting, knitting, and bible studies. She was a volunteer for St. Mary's Hospital and Johnstown Hospital. She was very generous to others and donates to charities close to her heart. She was a lifelong Amsterdam resident and a member of the Broadalbin Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements are private and under the caring guidance of Betz, Rossi and Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam.
