Catherine M. Hart

Catherine M. Hart, 60, of County Highway 107, passed away peacefully Friday, August 10, 2007 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Amsterdam on October 10, 1946 daughter of the late Joseph and Christine Cardalli Nichols. Catherine was raised and attended schools in the Amsterdam area. She was a graduate of St. Mary?s Institute and of Fulton-Montgomery Community College. She worked as a Medicaid Examiner for the Fulton County Department of Social Services until declining health forced her into retirement. Catherine was a member of St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Her loving family includes her husband of nearly 37 years, Thomas M. Hart of Fort Johnson whom she married September 4, 1970, a son, Christopher T. Hart of Charlotte, NC, a daughter, Andrea R. Hart of Perth, two brothers, Robert Nichols of Amsterdam and Joseph Nichols of Fort Hunter, and two sisters, Patricia Morrell of Titusville, FL and Irene Nichols of Pawtucket, RI. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 4:00PM on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00PM at the funeral home.
