Robert L. Petrasek

Mr. Robert L. Petrasek, 45 years old of Grand Street, died Wednesday at his home after a long illness. Mr. Petrasek was born April 22, 1962, in Amsterdam, a son of Leo and Marie DiCaprio Petrasek, and was a life long resident of Amsterdam. He was a graduate of Amsterdam High School. Mr. Petrasek had been employed by the former Price Chopper Gas Station for several years. He was a member of St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church. Mr. Petrasek is survived: his brother John Petrasek of Florida; his cousins Michele, Erica and April Harpp, Linda Nasadoski and other cousins. He is also survived by his special caregivers Ronald and Cathy Carpenter. Funeral services will be held 7:00pm Friday at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5-7:00pm Friday, prior to the funeral service. Burial will be private in St. Mary?s Cemetery.
