Adeline Henrietta Marcoux
January 26th, 1910 - May 30th, 2007
Adeline Henrietta Mac Rorie Marcoux passed away on May 30, 2007. She was born in Ilion, New York on January 26, 1910. Her parents were the late Ernest and Anna Mac Rorie. Adeline is survived by her daughters, Joanna Tom Mac Farlane of Gloversville, Judith N. Marcoux of Gloversville and Nancy Potter of Indianapolis, Indiana; her sister Louise Shibley of Mayfield and her daughter-in-law, Maria Marcoux of Tehachapi, California. She was pre-deceased by her husband of over fifty years, Joseph C. Marcoux; her son, Joseph W. Marcoux and her brother, Albert Mac Rorie. Adeline has 14 grandchildren, Lirio Guevara, Lori Burch, Eric Guevara, Joe Williams, Rasheen Williams, Suzanne Sweet, Robert Tanger, Danny Tanger, Karen Dean, Jamie Neall, J.C. Neall, Michelle Beyer, David Marcoux and Tammy Woodman, thirry great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She loved sewing, crafts and cooking. She lived many years in Simi Valley, California before returning to Gloversville 5 years ago. The family will recieve visitors at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, New York between the hours of 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM on June 6th, 2007. Interment will be at Ferndale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gloversville Public Library.
