Robert E. Sutton, age 65, of Johnstown, died Friday, May 25, 2007 at Mountain Valley Hospice, Gloversville. He was born August 25, 1941 in Gloversville, the son of the late Robert and Ruthe Armstrong Sutton. A graduate of Gloversville High School, he lived in Gloversville for most of his life. Bob took Psychology courses at SUNY Albany and Capella University. He had worked as a youth counselor in Amsterdam, and also worked for the Fulton County Office for the Ageing in their Meals on Wheels and transportation programs. Mr. Sutton was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Gloversville. He was a Boy Scout Leader many years ago. He is survived by a daughter, Kimmie A. Sutton of Johnstown; three stepsons, Robert Klock, Warren Klock and Terry Knight of Gloversville; a grandson, Jake Sutton Oken; and several cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends from 12 to 2 pm Wednesday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville. Interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078.
