Mr. Robert J. Koehler, 53, of Gloversville, died May 5, 2007 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady. Mr. Koehler was born April 3, 1954 in Jersey City, NJ, son of the late Carl Howie, Sr. and Doroth Lentz. He was educated in N. Bergen, NJ schools and moved to this area many years ago. He was formerly employed as a welder at the Hussman Corp. in Gloversville. Robert enjoyed fishing and drag racing, and was a member of the Life Works of Fulton County. He is survived by his wife Patricia Cimino Koehler of Gloversville whom he married October 14, 1973. He is also survived by his children: Robert J. Koehler, Antonio Koehler and Patricia Koehler all of Gloversville, Michael Koehler of Amsterdam, Philip Koehler of Bennington, VT, Cyndi Koehler of Ft. Mills, S. Carolina, and Jenise Koehler of New Jersey. Additional survivors are his brother, Carl Howie Jr. of Mahooney, PA, his sisters; Candine Cimino of Tyler Hills, PA, Ann Morgan of Northville, and Dawn Colilla of Ft. Mills, S. Carolina, as well as ten grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service and gathering for fellowship will be held Saturday, May 19, 2007 from 2-4 pm at 85 Park Street, Gloversville. Family and friends are invited to attend. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Life Works of Fulton County, P.O. Box 333, Gloversville.
