Helen Rayder Donaldson
March 8th, 1923 - December 13th, 2016
Helen Rayder Donaldson, 93, of Pittsboro, NC, passed away December 13, 2016 at UNC Hospital, Hillsborough, NC, after a brief illness. Mrs. Donaldson had lived for the past four years in North Carolina with her daughter. Prior to that she had been a resident of Fultonville, NY, for over sixty years. Born in Day Center, NY on March 8, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Agnes Kenyon Rayder and Freemont Rayder. Helen was a graduate of Gloversville High School and had a two-year business degree from the Gloversville Business School, Gloversville, NY. She spent her working life in the glove making industry. She was married to the late George B. Donaldson, Sr. and is survived by her three children: George B. Donaldson Jr. of Fultonville, NY, Rosanna Arminio (David) of Johnstown, NY and Suzanne Luke (Richard) of Pittsboro, NC. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at the Maple Avenue Cemetery, Maple Avenue, Fultonville, NY, on Friday, April 14th at 11:30 am. Everyone is invited to a luncheon following the service at the Winner Circle, Route 5, Fonda, NY. Memorial gifts in Helen's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
