Annette M. Calandra, age 82, of Gloversville, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Wells Nursing Home, Johnstown. She was born December 24, 1935 in Gloversville, the daughter of William and Anna Stoffelano Slovack. She was employed by Nathan Littauer Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit and enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping and going on cruises. Annette is survived by four daughters, Diane Tange (Howard), Christine Cassaro (Chuck), Claudia Geoghegan (John) and Mary Roosevelt (Mike); two sisters, Josephine Quinn and Marilyn Wrobel (Steve); two grandchildren, Brittany Stanzel and Joshua Roosevelt, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, William Slovack. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 6pm Wednesday, February 14 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 6:00pm. Interment will take place in the spring at the convenience of the family at Prospect Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Association, Pine West Plaza, Bldg. 4; Suite 405; Washington Ave. Ext; Albany, NY 12205. The family would like to thank all at Pineview Commons and Wells Nursing Home for caring for our mother.
