Betty F. Bellinger, 80, of Borden Rd. Fultonville, NY passed away Wednesday July 12, 2006 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Born in Schenectady, NY on August 5, 1925 a daughter of Millard and Frances Barry Armstrong. She was raised in Schenectady and graduated from Schenectady schools. She attended the University of Michigan, the College of St. Rose in Albany and also the Mildred Elley Business School. Mrs. Bellinger worked for a time as a Secretary for G.E. in Schenectady. She also worked for many years at her family?s Apple Orchard, Bellinger?s Apple Orchard in Fultonville. She was a parishioner of St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. Survivors include her husband Thomas L. Bellinger whom she married on August 25, 1962; one daughter, Linda J. Coyne and her husband Kenneth of Fultonville, NY and two grandchildren, Ian Coyne and Joshua Coyne both of Fultonville. Nieces and nephews also survive. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Robert Armstrong in 2004. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday July 15, 2006 at 9:00A.M. at St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church, East Main St., Amsterdam. Interment will be in Maple Ave. Cemetery, Fultonville, NY. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Frothingham Free Library, Main St., Fonda, NY 12068. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main St. Fultonville, NY 12072.
